Serials and Theses

This department provides access to journals, theses, and scientific publications available within our library in both printed and electronic formats. Printed journals—acquired through purchase or donations in accordance with the University Publications Regulation—are integrated into the library automation system and made available in alphabetical order in the Serials Hall. While back issues from the current year are kept on the shelves, issues from previous years are maintained in the serials archive. Serials are not available for loan and may only be used within the library.

Printed postgraduate theses, submitted to the library by the respective institutes, are cataloged in the library automation system and placed in the Theses Section for user access. Theses are not available for loan and may only be used within the library. Additionally, national theses can be accessed via the CoHE (YÖK) Thesis Center page. By searching the Thesis Center, you can instantly download theses if the author has granted digital access permission.

To benefit from e-journals and e-theses provided through purchase, subscription, or ULAKBİM, you can access all databases by searching the "E-Resources" (e-kaynaklar) tab on the library’s website.

Requests can be made for articles and theses (including table of contents, bibliography, abstract, and a selected section) that are not available in our library. For article requests, the ILL (Interlibrary Loan) Form under the "Forms" menu on the library website must be completed. For thesis requests, you may apply personally via email at kutuphane@pau.edu.tr.
