Reference Services

Reference services involve providing the necessary assistance to ensure that users can access the information they need in the fastest and most accurate way, aiming for the effective use of the library and its resources. This service is provided face-to-face, via telephone, e-mail, and through user trainings.

The Reference Librarian organizes library orientation programs for users who wish to learn about the library, its resources, and research methods, provided that an appointment is made in advance. Those who wish to benefit from this service are required to fill out the User Training Request Form.

At the beginning of each academic year, library orientations are conducted for students in groups throughout the day as part of the university's orientation program. At the start of every academic year, all faculties are notified via an official letter regarding the provision of library usage training for newly enrolled students. Library usage training is conducted at each faculty according to a designated schedule. During the academic semester, trainings on the use of electronic resources continue based on requests from faculties and Vocational Schools (MYO). Additionally, library tours are organized for primary and secondary schools that request to visit the library.
